Welcome to Dragon Country!

Halstead High School offers opportunity for students to be involved in a multitude of extracurricular activities. Kansas Association for Youth (KAY) and National Honor Society (NHS) are two groups that focus on community service and leadership. KAY focuses on character building, leadership, and service projects. Projects include providing kleenex for the classroom, assisting younger students, hosting Pink Night and are looking forward to their annual community service day. National Honor Society focuses on volunteering. They have worked at local blood drives, community dinners, worked at tournaments, and provide tutoring. Cheer and Dance lead the charge in school spirit at games. Cheerleaders lead the student section and fans in cheers while the Dance team provides halftime entertainment. The spring will provide students an opportunity to participate in a theater production. Prom will be a featured item for our student life. With this variety of activities, all students at HHS will find a place to be involved.
